What It Is: A mechanical upgrade compatible with existing resealable bag formats.
QuickSeal™ Release Closure is a mechanical quick-release slider system designed for resealable bags. It delivers a strong, adjustable seal while allowing users to open the bag instantly with a simple press, eliminating the friction and struggle common with traditional resealable closures.
Unlike conventional slider or press-to-close designs that rely on friction alone, QuickSeal™ introduces a true mechanical release that intentionally disengages the closure when activated—while remaining securely locked during normal handling.
Why It Matters
Traditional resealable bags force a tradeoff between seal strength and ease of opening. Stronger seals often mean harder opening, especially for liquids, freezer storage, or users with limited hand strength.
QuickSeal™ Release Closure removes that compromise.
Key Benefits
Push-to-release opening — no fighting seal friction
One-way mechanical locking prevents accidental opening
Stronger, more reliable seals for liquids and compression
One-hand operation improves accessibility and usability
Drop-in compatibility with existing resealable bag formats
How It Works
The QuickSeal™ slider allows normal movement in the closing direction to tighten and seal the bag. An internal locking mechanism resists reverse movement to prevent unintended opening.
When the quick-release actuator is pressed, a compact mechanical interface disengages the lock—allowing the slider to open smoothly and deliberately. Releasing the actuator automatically re-engages the lock, restoring full sealing strength.
Platform-Level Closure Technology
QuickSeal™ Release Closure is designed as a closure technology platform, not a single SKU.
It can be implemented across:
Slider zipper bags
Press-to-close zipper bags
Freezer and heavy-duty storage bags
Stand-up pouches
Reusable silicone bags
Multiple internal locking mechanisms and actuator configurations are supported, enabling flexible integration across product lines and price tiers.
